How To: Make The Perfect Pizza Dip (With Video)

A delicious treat even a teen can make.

Is your refrigerator always empty? Pantry constantly raided of all snack foods? If you have these two problems I bet you have teenagers in the house. Teenagers love anything easy to nibble on while doing homework, hanging out with friends or playing video games.

The next time your teenager asks what is there to snack on, surprise them with this delicious Pizza Dip with Pizza Dough Balls. It’s so easy to make I bet they can do it themselves!

To begin, spread the cream cheese on the bottom of a pie plate. Top with your favorite pizza sauce (store bought or homemade – whatever you prefer), sprinkle with cheese and, of course, don’t forget all the toppings!

How about pepperoni? Or do your kids like olives and mushrooms? Go tropical with pineapples and ham or be healthy and top the dip with lots of fresh vegetables like shredded carrots, broccoli florets and corn. This dip is incredibly creamy. Your kids are going to love dipping into it so much you might want to make an extra one just to be safe!

Speaking of dipping, you have to serve the Pizza Dip with these easy to make Pizza Dough Balls. To make life even easier use store bought pizza dough, brushed with a simple garlic butter.

The creamy Pizza Dip and the light and fluffy Pizza Dough Balls is a combination that no teenager will ever be able to resist!

 

Pizza Dip wih Pizza Dough Balls

Pizza Dip:

375g pizza sauce

375g cream cheese

1 cup (225g) mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup (115g) parmesan cheese

Sliced black olives

Sliced green olives

Pepperoni

 

Pizza Balls:

1 premade pizza dough

1/4 cup (65ml) olive oil

1/2 teaspoon dried basil

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Pinch of red chili flakes

 

To make the Pizza Dip:

1. Spread the cream cheese on the bottom of an 8” pie pan.

2. Top with the Pizza Sauce. Spread to completely cover the cream cheese.

3. Sprinkle the parmesan and mozzarella cheese on top.

4. Add your favorite toppings.

5. Bake at 350°F (175C°) for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese becomes bubbly.

6. Remove from oven and top with fresh basil leaves and chili flakes.

7. Enjoy hot with the pizza balls or tortilla chips.

 

To make the Pizza Dough Balls:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

2. Lightly grease a baking sheet.

3. Cut up the pizza dough into 12-24 pieces. Place on the baking sheet about 2” (5cm) apart.

4. Mix the olive oil, dried basil, garlic powder and chili flakes. Brush the dough balls with the olive oil mixture.

5. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.

6. Set aside and keep warm.

 

披萨球配披萨蘸酱

配料:

375克披萨酱

375克奶油奶酪

1杯 (225克)马苏里拉奶酪

1/2杯(115克)帕尔马干酪

黑橄榄切碎

青椒切成丁

意大利辣香肠

1个预先做好的披萨面团

1/4杯(65毫升)橄榄油

1茶匙干罗勒

1茶匙大蒜粉

少许红辣椒面

制作披萨蘸酱:

  1. 将奶油奶酪抹在一个8寸派盘的底部。

  2. 放上披萨酱,并均匀地涂抹在奶油奶酪上面。

  3. 撒上帕玛森干酪和马苏里拉干酪。

  4. 在添加上你最爱的添加品。

  5. 用350°华氏(175°摄氏)的温度烤15-20分钟直到

    奶酪起泡为止。

  6. 从烤箱取出,装饰上新鲜罗勒叶和辣椒面。

  7. 蘸酱配上玉米饼,就可以享用啦。

制作披萨球:

  1. 将烤箱预热到350°华氏度(175°摄氏度)。

  2. 将烤盘刷上薄薄一层油。

  3. 把披萨面团切成大小均匀的12-24块,并每隔2英寸

    (5厘米)放置。

  4. 将橄榄油,干罗勒,大蒜粉和辣椒面混合,并将混合

    调料刷到面团球上。

  5. 烤8-10分钟至金黄色。

  6. 置于一旁并保温。
