Lego Land

LEGOLAND Discovery Center

Opened in April 2016, Shanghai LEGOLAND Discovery Center features two LEGO rides, a 4D cinema, large soft play area, a Shanghai “mini-land” made of LEGO bricks and more. It’s best for kids ages 3-10, and is open daily 10am–8pm.

Kids Museum of Glass

Opened in January 2015, this hands- on museum teaches kids all about glass through interactive exhibits and workshops, including glass blowing and sand blasting.

Shanghai Natural History Museum

The Shanghai Natural History Museum is a work of art in its own right, with architecture inspired by a snail’s shell. Inside, you’ll nd dinobots, fossils, interactive exhibits and even a 4D cinema. Open Tuesday– Sunday, 9am–5:15pm; closed Mondays (except national holidays), December 31st, January 1st and 2nd.

Disneyland

Shanghai Disney Resort

Shanghai Disney Resort opened it’s door a year ago and Mickey’s fans have been thrilled with the newest – and happiest – place on earth. Head over to keep kids of all ages happy; youngsters will the love the Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for the Sunken Treasure ride, while Tron is ideal for your older kids (and you!).

Happy Valley

This amusement park is a classic favorite among expats and local teens alike, with roller coasters, water rides and more. Take Metro Line 9 to Sheshan Station, then cross the over-pass for the free orange shuttle bus to the park.

Jump 360

Bounce off some energy at the indoor trampoline park Jump 360, a Mecca for extreme sports lovers. It has something for all the family, with wall-to-wall trampolines, bubble football and archery.

Ambassy Club Swimming Pool

This quiet pool features slides, fountains and a peaceful space for swim- ming, sunning and “funning!” The outdoor pool opens May–October; the indoor pool is open all year.
