The circus is coming to town! Well, not exactly, but as of October 2nd, Cirque du Soleil will be opening in Shanghai for their world-famous KOOZA. The show is set in an electrifying visual world full of surprises, thrills, chills, audacity and total involvement. Mindful Minis

We try to make spaces in our life for reflection, self-assessment, presence and a little peace and quiet. Why shouldn't we want the same for our children? Meet Luna – the woman working to bring mindfulness into the forefront of our little people's lives. Her workshop will be held at Sprout Lifestyle's Cooking Classroom on October 21st for kids between the ages of seven and 12, featuring activities like making a "mind jar," mindful food preparation, and mindful eating exercises in the Sprout Lifestyle Kitchen. But everyone can enjoy their celebration of the Halloween season, with brand new holiday performances and family-friendly spooky surprises around every corner. Use Your Noodle

Ever wanted to learn how to make traditional hand-pulled noodles? Well, now you can! The Community Center Shanghai is hosting cooking classes, putting the secrets and skills needed to make lamian right in your hands. Whether you're whipping them up at home here in Shanghai, or having a try at wherever the road of life may take you next, know that you'll be able to bring these Chinese noodles to any kitchen you call your own. On October 25th, head over to their Pudong location and get ready to stretch, but keep an eye out for lessons running throughout December. Pac-12 China Game Featuring UCLA and Georgia Tech

On November 11th 2017, two American based basketball teams, UCLA and Georgia Tech, will be showing off their skills at the Baoshan Sports Center in Shanghai. Tip-off time is 12:30pm local time and will be televised live on ESPN in the United States and streamed live on Youku Sports.
